"Se realizaron el 19 de noviembre en conjunto con las elecciones parlamentarias y de consejeros regionales. La segunda vuelta fue el 17 de diciembre de 2017. Esta fue la primera elección presidencial de Chile en la que el voto en el extranjero entró en vigencia. La elección presidencial fue disputada por ocho candidatos: Carolina Goic (PDC), José Antonio Kast (IND), Sebastián Piñera (IND – Chile Vamos), Alejandro Guillier (IND – La Fuerza de la Mayoría), Beatriz Sánchez (IND – Frente Amplio), Marco Enríquez-Ominami (PRO) , Eduardo Artés (UPA) y Alejandro Navarro (PAIS).
En la primera vuelta presidencial, Sebastián Piñera obtuvo el 36,64% de los votos y Alejandro Guiller el 22,70% de los sufragios. El tercer lugar lo ocupó la candidatura de Beatriz Sánchez, del Frente Amplio con un 20,27% alzando a este pacto como la tercera fuerza en el escenario político electoral. En la segunda vuelta, Sebastián Piñera resultó electo Presidente de la República por segunda vez, al alcanzar el 54,58% de los votos, frente al 45,42% de Alejandro Guillier".
